When I say “EBBI’S” you say “PLACE” “EBBI’S”…

Our story

The very core of Ebbi’s Place is celebrating black food and recipes rooted in our home country, Nigeria. Whether you’re prepping for a party or just want to keep your fridge full for the week, we’ve got you covered with all the freshest Nigerian dishes available.

Ebbi’s Place was founded in the heart of the pandemic when homesick-symptoms started screaming the loudest. Mums home-cooked meal was a distance at the moment, so the saying ‘if the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain’ was put into action.

So why did I start Pop-Up Dinners?

The goal is about getting people to taste different recipes thought up by myself, Eberechukwu, as well as trying out new ones to share with you all.

I decided to start with popup dinners because there was so much to share with people but at the same time it would have been too much to put all these recipes up on my menu. I love community as well as feasting from a variety. My dream one day is to run my own restaurant emphasizing mainly Nigerian food.

“Thank you again for hosting us and giving me my first Shawarma experience! It was too good, I still can’t believe it was FISH!!! I had a wonderful time!!.”
